I am an award-winning graphic designer and consultant with 20+ years experience.
In the course of my career, I have designed and launched numerous successful consumer publications, created myriad posters and book covers, and produced logos and branding for diverse companies. And my work has been recognized by the Society of Publication Designers, Graphis, Print, Communication Arts, and Lead Awards.
Specializing in visual storytelling and solving graphic problems, I utilize typography, photos, illustration, information graphics--or some combo thereof--to package a beautiful design solution. Working either digitally (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Lightroom) or by hand (silkscreen, hand-cut type, collage), I tailor an individual approach to jibe with each client’s unique wants and needs.
Keith Campbell Art + Design is a full-service studio, which--in concert with a wide range of collaborators--can accommodate most any project thrown our way. Depending on the job, we'll shuffle resources until we have the consummate team for the project.
In my 18 years as a designer living in Germany,  I've managed to pack in loads of magazine work and other design projects for Jahr Media,  Bauer Media Group, Hubert Burda Media, Mediengruppe Klambt, Gruner + Jahr, Axel Springer, Funke Mediengruppe, Pulp Master books and many more.
I'm an American and English is my mother tongue. And I could have written this in German, albeit with a smattering of grammatical slip-ups. After a lot of years living mostly in Hamburg, I've assimilated to the point where I have a Schrebergarten, am familiar with the sometimes-baffling traffic regulations, started, along with my wife, a small clothing firm called Jelly Deans. And we're raising two wonderful German/American sons. I am still, though, an American expat living happily and feeling welcome in this country.
In the meantime, Fall is falling, the weather's getting brisk, and the time is nigh for getting the garden ready for winter. And celebrating the end of Covid! Which, of course, hasn't ended, but we're pretending like everyone else.
